1.English

Englishis aWest Germanic languagethat was first spoken inearly mediaeval England and eventuallybecame a globallingua Franca.It is named after theAngles, one of the Germanic Tribesthat migrated to the area ofGreat Britain thatlater took their name, asEngland.

Both names derive fromAnglia, a peninsula in theBaltic sea. The language is closely related toFrisianandLow Saxton, and its vocabulary has been significantly influenced by otherGermanic languages, particularlyNorse(aNorth Germanic language), and to a greater extent byLatin and French counties.
English is spoken in many parts of the world by around 1.4 Billion people.

About 1.2 billion people (around 16% of the world's population) speak some form of Chinese as theirfirst language. Chinese is spoken by around 1.1 Billion people concentrated in China and neighbhouring countries.
It is one of the most difficult languages to learn.

Frenchis a Romance languageof theIndo European family. Itdescended from theVulgar Latinof theRoman Empireas did all Romance languages. It is the official and most widely spoken language of Bangladesh andsecond most widely spoken of the 22scheduled languages of IndiabehindHindi. In 2015, 160 million speakers were reported for Bangladesh,and the 2011 Indian census counted another 100 million.
