SHIV PUJA

'Maha Shivaratri' is one of the most important festivals of Hindus. This
festival celebrating the marriage of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati infuses the
spirit of devotion and dedication among the Hindus.



In popularHinduism,Shivais often represented as a destructive aspect
of
Brahmanand entitled 'The
Destroyer.' This is merely one attribute, as there are many different groups
and sects who hold Shiva.


In this picture, children
are representing the joy and love for celebrating the lord Shiva by “Shiva
Pooja”. Shiva balances thenature by acting as a god of destruction. Duringthe
samundra manthan, shiva gulped the poison and all the god performed dance and
sang hymns to keep him awake.
