The New York Times said he will probably resign in December.
According to The New York Times Lloyd Blankfein will be followed up by chairman David Solomon. The Wall street journal already told this news last year in March.
For some time their are mentions of the resignation of Lloyd who is turning 64 this year.
Lloyd is CEO of Goldman Sachs since 2006, he also gets critics. His role in the crisis of 2008 is not undisputed.
Lloyd will be known as one of the CEO's who had the longest state of service.
Goldman Sachs is one of the biggest banks in the US.
