Archaeologists have discovered over 25 drawings in southern Peru. It is estimated that the drawings were made in the sand more than two thousand years ago.
On the drawings there is visible a killer whale and a woman who dances, says the Ministry of Culture in ~Peru~ on Monday. The discovery was made with help of drones.
The archaeologists think that the drawings are made by the Paracas culture who lived in what is now called Peru. This is years before the famous ~Nazca lines~ were made.
Locals already discovered 25 other drawings earlier this year. These are now also being investigated by the archaeologists.
The Nazca lines belong to the Unesco World Heritage, and are spread over 450 square kilometers of desert landscape in the south of Peru. Their are so famous because of the drawings who stretch over miles and are only visible from the sky.
